Hometown Housing Partnership, Inc.(East Lansing's affordable housing nonprofit) is seeking an experienced nonprofit Executive Director. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, community development, planning, urban studies, public policy, or a related subject area.

Desired experience and skills include:

Affordable housing programs knowledge; Good communication skills. Financial management experience, QuickBooks knowledge; Experience in fundraising and revenue generation; Experience in grant writing and grant administration; Experience working in a community based organization; Experience working with culturally and economically diverse community; Experience with Real Estate transactions; Experience with mortgage origination, underwriting, and closing processes; Experience with residential construction specification writing; Knowledge and experience working in community development including real estate, community collaboration, and community organizing. Familiarity with housing programs such as CDBG, MSHDA Acquisition Rehab Resale, and Low Income Housing Tax Credit, Homebuyer Counseling. Knowledge of Multi-family housing a plus. Knowledge in strategic planning.
