YNPN was created and is led by nonprofit professionals just like you. Getting involved with our work is a great way to connect with peers and play a bigger role in the local nonprofit sector. When you become a member, you can get involved and:

Join a Committee

YNPN of Greater Grand Rapids currently has four committees that are responsible for planning, promoting, and coordinating all the chapter's activities:

YNPN has committees, special event committees and the occasional open board position. if you would like to get involved with YNPN find out what suites you best:

  • Membership and Development: Build financial support for YNPN through sponsors, donations and membership recruitment. Find out more by emailing Amanda Meldrum.                                                                                                                           
  • Educational Programming: Plan and implement bi-monthly lunch time educational programming and monthly conversation starters. Find out more by emailing Tracy VanSolkema.                                                                     
  • Partnership and Recognition: Planing and implementing the YNPN leadership Awards, round tables, annual member meetings and other partnership programs.   • Marketing and Communications: Are you interested in helping to market all YNPN events and managing the organizational brand? From Job Mogul to resource managers and Rapidain liaison we have a committee dedicated to helping YNPN and YNPNers move into the spotlight in 2012. Join the Board

YNPN of Greater Grand Rapids has board member elections every year in October. If you are interested in furthering the mission of YNPN and developing some of your best skills, nominate yourself to be on the board.
