The Executive Director is responsible for leadership and management of Good Samaritan Ministries (GSM) whose mission is dedicated to ending poverty and homelessness. GSM collaborates with businesses, government, faith communities, and other nonprofit organizations to find long-term solutions to poverty. GSM customizes best practices and leverages community resources to empower families to break the cycle of poverty. The Executive Director reports to and works in partnership with a Board of Directors and is responsible for developing and managing the organization’s $1,300,000 operating budget. The Executive Director supervises a staff of approximately 20 employees.
This position will be responsible for conducting the full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage grant
proposals for organizations that are contracting grant writing services with Kennari Consulting. This person will work
closely with the VP of Grants to meet the needs of clients, research opportunities, project manage deadlines, and support
reporting needs. This position needs to be a strategic thinker who can assist in the evaluation and positioning of client
programs for grant success. This position will also support case statement writing for the campaign and annual fund clients.
