When not completing homework from his classes in the Master of Public Administration - Nonprofit Management & Leadership program at GVSU, you can find Kevin kayaking, walking Aman park, snowshoeing, or likely volunteering out in the community. In 2019, Kevin served as the Chapter Support Fellow for YNPN National, where he provided technical assistance and coaching to the 44 chapters across the country. Kevin values YNPN-GR for its potential to both lift and support local talent by providing accessible and quality professional development and networking opportunities.

Autumn's passion is working with nonprofits to cultivate a strong, sustainable donor-base through strategic planning, communications, and development. When not nerding out on nonprofits, Autumn enjoys exploring Grand Rapids' top-notch restaurants, hiking, and volunteering. Her favorite part of YNPN.GR is the opportunity to connect with individuals from a wide range of nonprofit professions, while growing leadership skills and community collaborations. She has her Masters in Public Administration from GVSU, with a concentration in Nonprofit Management and Leadership.

Kasie's passion is engaging in health care advocacy and policy, including educating elected officials. During her board term, she wants to create opportunities for others to network, learn, and develop skills as they begin their careers in the Grand Rapids community while keeping their passion for the nonprofit industry alive and thriving. When she is not at work, she enjoys kickboxing, taking her Morkie, Mila, on walks, trying new restaurants and burying herself in a good book. Kasie is the recipient of the 2018 Michigan Primary Care Association Peer Leadership Award for advocacy work at Cherry Health and holds a Master's of Public Health with an emphasis in Health Policy & Administration from GVSU.

Angela is a passionate about her family, music and the arts, animal protections and care, LGBTQ and equal rights for all, and always doing what is right. She was motivated to join the YNPN.GR board to get more involved with the development culture here in GR, and to be a supportive voice for young professionals in this field because she recognizes it is a challenging role to play in any organization. When not at work, she loves spending time with her husband and two children (And taking them to Disney World!) She also enjoys reading, coloring, shopping, crafts, movies, video games, and cleaning and organizing. Angela originally pursued her Undergraduate and Graduate studies in Opera performance, but then switched to a Master's Degree in Non-Profit Management from Florida State University.

Alica loves helping others and sharing joy with them - in whatever capacity that she can. She values YNPN because it provides West Michigan young professionals opportunities to connect with local non-profit organizations, engage in continuous learning and growth through professional development, and serve the Grand Rapids community. What drove her to join the YNPN board was that she wanted to give back, be a part of, and serve an organization that provides so many opportunities for professionals to gain insight on the philanthropy sector in our community. When not working or in meetings, she loves spending quality time with her family and friends, staying active, traveling and exploring new places, and enjoying local breweries or places with delicious dessert!

Taylor is passionate about working with kids and she loves being able to share in their intelligence, curiosity, and considers it a great privilege to be a part of their journey. What Winni values most about YNPN is the camaraderie and the mindset that members all truly want to see each other succeed. Members serve as a support system and a growth opportunity for one another, and are always willing to share their knowledge as well as lend a listening ear. When not at work, she enjoys cooking, crafting, and watching Hulu. She is passionate about women's rights and ensuring healthcare for all. Winni wanted to join the board because she believes that she has a lot to learn from YNPN and she wanted more people in the sector to be aware of YNPN's resources. YNPN provides a space for both personal and professional peers to share, ask questions, and get support. She wanted to be a part of that!

Margaret's passion is to create an equitable West Michigan community. Currently, she pursues this by raising funds and awareness of accessible healthcare for those that need it most. Rachel is passionate about education, community-building, and empowering youth through mentorship. What she values about YNPN is the support and leadership opportunities for young nonprofit professionals. When Rachel is not at work, she enjoys refinishing furniture, walking her dog, Emilio, and exploring the outdoors with her twin daughters. She holds a Master of Science in Communication Studies from Grand Valley State University, focused on organizational leadership and inclusion initiatives. In addition to YNPN, she is the Chair of the Diversity, Inclusion, and Global Outreach Committee (DIG) at YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin, a member of the Sense of Belonging Workgroup at Westside Collaborative, and a mentor at Affinity Mentoring.

Hanna loves hearing what connects a donor to the mission of an organization and making them feel valued and heard through consistent communications and marketing. Her favorite part of YNPN.GR is being able to connect with peer professionals and the opportunity to be connected to a wider array of types of nonprofits. Daniela's passions include serving people, fighting for women's rights, animal rights, advocating for immigrants, and helping the community. She strives to make others feel special and valued. She loves to learn about other cultures, food, languages, and customs. Daniela wanted to serve on the YNPN.GR board because the nonprofit sector has many challenges and more often than not, the work has the potential to burn-out individuals. She wanted to be a part of a supportive organization that is made up of young professionals who were guiding and supporting other young professionals - encouraging each other to serve in these nonprofits that so desperately need our gifts and talents. She believes that YNPN.GR has so much potential and growth ahead of them and wanted to be a part of it. When not working, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her partner, walking their dog, Pinto, traveling, playing tennis, and going to concerts and hockey games. Daniela is also a recipient of the 2019 YNPN Innovator Award and the 2019 West Michigan Woman Brilliance Emerging Leader Award.

Elisa is passionate about being a social worker. She loves helping people and empowering them to be their best selves. She considers herself a lifelong learner as she is working on her second Master's degree in Communications to be completed in May 2020. She spent most of her career working in the nonprofit sector as a mental health clinician. She joined the YNPN.GR board because she knows how important it is to have a diverse and energized pool of individuals doing nonprofit work. Elisa wants to do what she can to empower young professionals to be successful and build a career they feel passionate about. She enjoys rock climbing, spending time with her two boys, and playing board games with her large family. Indicative of this life-long learner, she loves listening to podcasts and audio books.

Stacie's passion is providing the opportunity for mental health care to all who want and need the services. She sought to join the YNPN.GR because of the opportunity to build community with other young professionals and values the fellowship around education and growth building that YNPN offers. She holds a Master's in Health Administration from GVSU. When not at work, she loves traveling, experiences new places, and trying new restaurants.
